German invoices, delivery notes and credit notes as PDF
Invoices, delivery notes and credit notes from your orders, in German and with your own number series. Every document names the order number.
What it does
Invoice
Open an order, click once, get the PDF. The invoice shows the net per tax rate. With it comes the note under § 19 UStG for small businesses, or under § 6a UStG for business buyers in the EU.
Delivery note
A delivery note for every open order, to put in the parcel. It names the same order number as the invoice.
Credit notes and cancellations
The credit note follows the refund, at the amount Shopify suggests. An order cancelled before it was paid gets a cancellation invoice. Both name the number of the invoice they correct. Credit notes and cancellation invoices are part of the Starter plan.
Your own number series
You set the prefix and the next number yourself, separately for invoices, delivery notes and credit notes. A number once issued never changes.
Why it is safe to install
The app writes nothing to your store
It reads your orders and makes PDF files from them. It changes no order, no product and no theme. If the app is down, your store keeps working.
The app never recalculates tax
It prints the tax Shopify calculated, the tax on shipping included. When the app's figures and Shopify's figures do not match, it creates no document and tells you so.
Numbers already issued never change
Click a second time and the same file comes back under the same number. The app gives one order no second invoice number.
What it does not do
The app changes nothing in your theme and nothing in the checkout. It creates no e-invoice in the XRechnung or ZUGFeRD format. It writes no email to your customers and sends no document by email. It writes to you only about the app itself, at the address Shopify holds for your store: when a data request is waiting for you, or when the terms change. The app does not recalculate tax, not even the tax on shipping. It prints the tax Shopify calculated. If you refund a different amount than Shopify suggests, for example less a restocking fee, the app creates no credit note for that refund. For services sold to business buyers in the EU it prints no § 13b UStG note. It shows you the orders of the last 60 days, and for an older order it creates no document. It is not tax advice: which details your business needs is a question for your tax adviser.
Plans
Shopify adds the charge to your Shopify bill. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. You change or cancel the plan in the app, whenever you want.
